- Reporting Cycles – Provides clear directions, timelines and oversight for a comprehensive program of goal creation, evaluation of assessments and the use of results for quality enhancement. Assists faculty, staff and administration in articulating learning and/or programmatic goals and identifying appropriate assessments. Works directly with all departments to ensure timely, appropriate data collection, analysis, reporting, and integration of university planning and budgeting procedures. Analyzes and summarizes data for reports. Maintains and enforces reporting deadlines.
- Assessment Instruments – Assists faculty, staff and administration with the creation of in-house instruments and the use of appropriate published instruments for measuring attitudes, skills, knowledge, abilities or trends.
- Assessment Documentation – Collects and houses results and plans for improvement annually for all departments, disciplines, and general education via Tk20.
- Assessment Committee – Leads a group of representatives that meets periodically in order to heighten awareness of and review assessment procedures as they relate to accreditation and institutional effectiveness.
- Tk20 Implementation & Training – Implements all available modules in the Tk20 assessment software. Trains and advises faculty, staff and administration in the use of TK20.
- Annual Survey Administration – Works with the AVPAA to produce and/or administer Noel-Levitz, NSSE, Senior Exit Survey, and others surveys as needed. Analyze and interpret survey data. Create action plans based on survey and other data.
- Academic Program Reviews – Coordinates the academic program review (APR) process as outlined in the APR Handbook.
- Strategic Planning – Works with the AVPAA to collect, analyze, and summarize disaggregated institutional data to identify trends and thereby inform the strategic plan process. Coordinates the collection of ongoing strategic planning data via a dashboard or comparative system.
- Institutional Research – Works with the AVPAA to collect, analyze, and report university data. Produce assessment reports derived from institutional and/or benchmark data (i.e. IPEDS, ICUF, CCCU, etc.).
- Accreditation – Works with the AVPAA to produce narrative and documentation in compliance with SACS COC guidelines, specifically institutional effectiveness.
- Technology – Integrates and enhances the use of technology in assessment and research processes.
Assessment Coordinator

- Represent the Office of Institutional Effectiveness reporting directly to the Dean, Institutional Research and Retention.
- Coordinate the assessment processes for both academic and non-academic departments in the university
- Collect and analyze all assessment documentation such as the Master Plan of Advance (departmental strategic plans), Program Learning Outcomes (student learning outcomes), and Curriculum Maps.
- Serve as the unit administrator for Tk20, a comprehensive assessment software, which serves as reservoir for faculty course evaluations, various surveys, student portfolios, and course-based assessments
- Create curriculum maps, support various academic committees, and regular meet with deans, chairs, and directors of the university regarding matters of assessment.
- Assist in the creation and editing of the decennial accreditation reports, including the Compliance Report, Focused Report, and Quality Enhancement Plan.
- Serve as the administrator for the accreditation website, Compliance Assist
- Contribute to the collection, analysis, and distribution of university data
- During an interim period, collected, analyzed and reported all data for the university, included data for IPEDS (U.S. Department of Education), Florida Department of Education (FLDOE), Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF), Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), Petersen’s, U.S. News, the executive cabinet, academic/ non-academic directors, and the Board of Regents.

- Completed a full adoption of Tk20, including modules for course evaluations, surveying, assessment planning, e-portfolios, and course-based assessment
- Supervised the complete shutdown of Class Climate with a transition to Tk20
- Established a data warehouse for tracking various student groups
